After the first day of the Europeans I am sitting in 17th, we had 15-20 knots but very shifty conditions. I managed to get a 9 and a 4. Looking forward to more racing tomorrow. 

Registration an measurement started today for the 2013 Europeans in Dublin. I have had a good week of training and now having a day off today before the regatta starts on Sunday. 

Have been in Ireland for a few days now and had my first session on the water today. It was great to be back in my boat. Looking forward to racing in a few days.

Had my last day of sailing in Rio for the year today. It was great to get familiar with the very tricky conditions that Rio has to offer but there is definitely a lot more to learn. Now off to Ireland to compete in the European championships.

So I have been in Rio for a few days now and it has definitely been an experience. We all came expecting light winds but on the first day out on the water we had 25 knots which was a surprise. Today we had more expected conditions and was great to start getting a grasp on what might be in store for us in three years at the Olympics. I am looking forward to learning more over the next week.

Had a great week training in Sydney. We had everything from 0-30 knots so was good to see how everything is going. Spending the next couple of days packing before heading of to Rio on Monday to check out the Olympic venue for 2016.

Off to Sydney for a week of training before heading off to Rio and Dublin.
